Think BIG started as a group of three in March 2008.  Sharon Pancho, a stroke survivor, Marida Dorado, mother to a TBI survivor, and Suzie Woolway, Speech Language Pathologist were drawn together because of the obvious gap in services for people and families here on Kauai.  Dr. Louanne, clinical neuropsychologist is also part of the group. We invite anyone who has had a traumatic brain injury or stroke, including their loved ones, to participate.  The group expands with members from   the North, South, East and West sides of Kauai.
 Our aim is to: 
  • give support & educate each other 
  • share resource information 
  • increase community awareness of the affects of brain injury 
  • help people to grow & learn through mutual support & care
